About This Opportunity
Help protect one of Florida's most iconic coastal traditions! Escambia County is seeking Sea Turtle Nest Patrol Volunteers and Ambassadors for the 2026 season, running May 1 through October 31. Patrollers help monitor sea turtle nesting sites along the Pensacola Beach shoreline, while Ambassadors engage and educate the public on sea turtle conservation and work with local businesses to promote sea turtle-friendly practices. A rewarding way to spend your mornings on the beach while making a real conservation impact.
Skills or Requirements
Ability to walk beach terrain in the early morning. Dependable and detail-oriented. Training provided.
