Courageous Expression Edition

— Allie M
One of the greatest privileges we have on this side of eternity is expression. We get to express our ideas, give our opinions, and simply share our thoughts and feelings. We get to take what is abstract, give it form, and offer it to the world.
As someone who is a Believer, I understand from the perspective of faith that expression can shift cultures, spark movements, and change the world.
As a human, I also understand that expression often takes courage. Especially if you are a little different from your environment, if you carry a unique idea for your community, or if what you want to express has been buried under trauma and you have forgotten how to share your own voice.
Either way, being created in the image and likeness of God means that you are a gift. And it will require courage to express that gift to the world—sometimes more courage than you feel you have. But when you begin to live from that place, something extraordinary happens.
You begin to really live.
To truly experience life.
This edition of The Good News Gazette is filled with pieces that I hope will inspire you to live courageously and express boldly in your community.
