Compound Connection #3
Wind of God — Jennah Gibson
“We often overestimate what we can do in a year, and underestimate what we can do in 10 years.”
— someone with some maturity
Recently at the airport, I had the privilege of talking with a gentleman who had been with a well-known national auto body company. He had been with the company since the beginning and had witnessed exponential growth throughout its years in business.
In our “random” conversation, compound interest ended up coming up. He mentioned how he would often speak at colleges about compound interest and the Rule of 72—an easy equation used to estimate how long it takes for your money to double.
As soon as he mentioned it, I couldn’t help but feel like God was confirming something. I had been working on this next edition for the past month and had finally titled it:
Compound Connection
My hope for this month’s edition is that it will spur you on to take consistent steps in the direction of your choice.
Whether that direction is becoming a better parent,
a more impactful leader,
or simply someone trying to live a life of purpose.
My hope and prayer is that the articles and stories in this edition will help propel you forward.
No matter how big your goals are—or how quickly you want to get there—if you continue moving steadily in the right direction, you will eventually arrive.
Small consistent steps create compound results. Stay steady.
Be encouraged by this month’s edition and share it with someone who may need a little inspiration.
Enjoy!
